Existe una incesante insistencia por mantener en cada territorio las costumbres que le son conocidas históricamente. Frente a esto, el rechazo a lo nuevo, a lo extranjero y lo foráneo es común, pero no del todo correcto. Es esta reflexión que propone Partiquino, quien entiende que los cambios son parte natural del tiempo, pero al mismo tiempo, reconoce que en cierta parte está de acuerdo con la intención de preservar algunas costumbres.
