Partiquino reflexiona sobre las maneras de narrar de los escritores del “Boom latinoamericano”, quienes abandonando la forma común del orden, comienzan a intercalar narraciones, dificultando en alguna medida la lectura lineal. Para el autor, esta estrategia, aunque activa lo sensorial, disminuye el trabajo intelectual, por lo que pone en cuestionamiento la eficiencia real de esta técnica.
