El tren como medio de transporte, ha sido reemplazado paulatinamente por otras máquinas más modernas que amplían las posibilidades de llegada. Partiquino en esta crónica, cuenta cómo su tío Leonardo, fanático de los trenes, optó decididamente por no viajar en otro medio hacia el extranjero que no fuera un tren. Su decisión, motivada y argumentada por la naturaleza del ser humano, otorga a este capricho la encantadora atmósfera de un espacio en el que suceden las más venturosas historias, y a las cuales Partiquino destaca, mostrándose en acuerdo con la magia que emite el tren.
