Es curiosa la forma en que los chilenos intentan explicar el significado de algunas palabras coloquiales. En especial, a Partiquino se le dificulta hacerle entender a un extranjero la variedad semántica de palabras como ‘siútico’ y ‘choro’, entre otras. Con una buena cuota de humor, el autor da cuenta de la imposibilidad de dar significado a una serie de palabras del español chileno, que confundiendo a los extranjeros, provoca la rendición de quien intenta enseñarlas.
