La manifestación de una preocupación por la poca apertura del cine chileno, se expresará mediante esta reflexión de Partiquino, que intentará generar una instancia para pensar acerca de la importancia que se le otorga al cine en Chile. Los pocos ingresos destinados a levantar esta área, dan cuenta también de la escasa intención por configurar un reflejo de la identidad nacional, según la cual el autor, radica indispensablemente en la construcción del cine chileno.
