La historia en general ha demostrado que los pueblos dominantes suelen someter a los dominados a sus propias reglas y creencias. Partiquino inicia la reflexión desde acá, para luego adentrarse en una crítica que pone en manifiesto la verdadera barbaridad en el ser humano occidental, el cual, peleando constantemente con el resto del mundo, termina por acudir a su ejemplo para arreglar sus errores. Partiquino deja la pregunta al lector ¿Quién es el bárbaro entonces?
