Con un carácter un poco más crítico, Partiquino da cuenta de la importante destrucción del medio ambiente que ha generado el ser humano por la insistencia del progreso y el desarrollo. Las drásticas y trágicas consecuencias que esto ha acarreado, ha producido que sus efectos se sientan incluso en lo cotidiano el día a día. El autor incentiva al lector a concientizarse respecto al tema, y no permanecer pasivo ante la inminente destrucción que puede afectar a la humanidad, a menos que “por un pelo” se salve.
