Con el humor característico de Partiquino, en esta crónica hace un intento por contrariar las aseveraciones de Tolstoi que, machistas, establecía sobre el comportamiento de las mujeres. Mediante una breve simulación de un encuentro y una conversación con Tolstoi, el autor crea una situación en la que es capaz de demostrarle su error al escritor ruso, tratando de revelar las verdaderas intenciones de las mujeres respecto a tu vanidad.
